Hi! Travelling to China in September and looking for the best VPNs that are currently working, or eSIMs that have built-in VPN / ability to use apps like Instagram. Much appreciated!

I recommend Nomad eSIM — it provides fast internet speeds in China, and you will not need a separate VPN. Of course, if you download any working VPN before you leave, it should generally work fine once you arrive in China anyway.
