Does WeChat Pay work with Visa mastercard in China
HappydayShared Aug 22, 2026For some reason, the international version of Alipay keeps having issues whenever I open it after downloading. I would like to use WeChat Pay as a backup payment method — I am wondering if it will work properly too.

Yeah, no need to worry — WeChat supports international credit cards too. Having it as a backup payment method is essential. That said, you will want to get the Alipay issue sorted out as well. Having one main option and one backup is super smart.
