How should I plan Yangshuo when rain is in the forecast?
I only have two full days in Yangshuo and the forecast looks wet. Are the river and countryside still enjoyable in light rain, and which activities make good backups if the weather turns properly bad?

Mist and light rain can make the karst landscape beautiful, so do not cancel everything automatically. Keep one flexible indoor option and move your outdoor priority to the clearer day.

Use a waterproof layer and protect your phone. If the river conditions are poor, a slower café, cooking class or town walk can still make the day feel worthwhile.
