Need help on transportation, Hunan to Anhui
I’m planning an itinerary for a trip to China and was wondering what would be the best way to go from Zhangjiajie to Hongcun / Xidi?

The most economical and time-efficient plan: take a train from Zhangjiajie to Changsha, then transfer at Changsha South Station to Yixian East Station. The total cost for one person is about 500 RMB, with a travel time of roughly nine hours.
A key reminder: Once you arrive in Changsha, you need to take a taxi to Changsha South Station, as these are two different stations. Yixian East Station is a small station, and it takes just over 30 minutes by taxi to Hongcun.
There is another train option. You also travel to Changsha South Station first, then take a train to Huangshan. This route is worth considering because Huangshan ranks among China’s top tourist spots, with lots of attractions nearby. In that case, Hongcun may only become a secondary destination for you.
