For a two-week China trip, should I use a local SIM or a travel eSIM?

I will be in China for around two weeks. A travel eSIM looks simple, but a local number might help with deliveries and verification codes. Is it worth arranging both, or is one normally enough for a short trip?

For a short visit, an eSIM is usually the least complicated option. A local number becomes more valuable if you expect many delivery calls or longer stays.

Think about your phone model before deciding: not every handset supports eSIM, and dual-SIM capability can make a simple backup arrangement much easier.
