Can I extend my tourist visa once I arrive in China?
My planned trip might get longer. Curious if extending a tourist visa after entering is straightforward. I’m staying across multiple cities.

Extensions are possible but don’t count on it, approval is not guaranteed.

You need to visit local immigration office, bring passport and hotel registration slip.

From what I’ve read, they rarely approve extensions longer than 30 extra days.
